Dear Nadia,

I have found your address on the internet while I was looking for a pen friend from Africa. I am very interested in this continent.

My name is Jenny Brown. I am an Irish girl of seventeen. I am average height with short fair hair, blue eyes and a square face.

I go to a comprehensive school. I am in the last form. The subjects I like are history and maths. I dislike physics.

I live with my parents and my brother Tim who goes to university. My father is a shopkeeper and my mother is a nurse.

At school, we practise different sports. I always play handball matches. I am very happy when we win matches.

At weekends, we often go on picnics. In the evenings, we sometimes go to the cinema. I seldom go to the disco.

I hope you will write me soon and send me your photo.
